Praga Junior Team 2017 preview

Following its fine initial season the official Praga kart factory junior team, based in south Italian Fasano, announces a new line up and plans for 2017. The team gets bigger and grows internationally.

Enzo Muolo, Team Director:
“At the moment we have 17 drivers from three countries to compete in three championships in four categories. As a junior team, we focus on the 60cc and 125cc class in the Italian Championship. The winter season has already started in WSK and we will also do some Cup and Regional racing.”

Giuseppe Lotito, Team Director:
“We are excited about the new international talent joining the team. Kacper Rogala, current MicroMax Champion from Poland, signed for the Italian Championship in Mini, and we are happy to see Valter Vlk back from the Czech Republic, who has already competed with us successfully last November in Viterbo, winning third in the Coppa Italia, his very first race with us and very first race in Italy. More names are being discussed, Eduard Brezina from Romania to name one.”

The Italian squadra azzura lists 15 pilots. “I think we have quite a good mixture of experienced drivers with those who have just started. Everyone is well motivated to build on our previous results and to show some winning instinct. We hope that after winning the Italian National trophy in 2016 we will dig some more metal this year,” says Lotito.
